Ceremony: Marikle Chapel of the Annunciation
College of Notre Dame of Maryland

As I'm an alum of CND, I have always wanted to have my wedding ceremony there. The chapel is gorgeous as it was renovated in the early 2000's (I believe).  All the original stained glass windows were sent back to their original manufacturer in Germany and fully restored, air conditioning has been installed, walls re-painted as well as many paintings of Mary done, and the carpeting and ugly pews have been replaced with gorgeous cherry wood floors and pews.  It is beautiful inside, and really won't need much in the way of decorations.

Reception: The Historic Tremont Grand

Picture
We are SO excited to have our wedding reception here!

The Tremont Grand is absolutely gorgeous! It was formerly the Masonic Lodge of Maryland, but was destroyed in the Great Fire of Baltimore in the early 1900's. The venue was fully restored in 2005, and luckily most of the marble from the original masonic work was recovered, which is what makes the space so breathtaking. We cannot wait to share this special day with everyone at the Tremont! The cocktail hour will be held in the Roman Strada Room, and reception will be held in the Corinthian Room.

Rehearsal Dinner:
Rusty Scupper

We are so excited to have our RD at the Rusty Scupper.  Mr. SweetCFly's family is entirely OOT, and since they will be in attendance we wanted to chose a RD venue which would reflect Baltimore through it's cuisine and atmospphere.  We cannot wait to share this special night with the bridal party and our family.  All private events are held in the upstairs room of the Rusty Scupper, which is not open to the public, and seats about 60 people.  There's also a pretty good sized deck/patio off the upstairs room.  We'll be having a buffet for around 50, so it'll be very cozy and just what we wanted.  It will be great to mix and mingle and relax with our loved ones in such a beautiful space overlooking the harbor.  I may be more excited about the RD than the wedding itself... not really but I am pretty psyched!  It's going to be great.
