Maids

Okay so I don't know how to flip the pictures.... so it's sideways.  This is one of my beautiful BMs, Taylor, in the BM dress, Bill Levkoff # 557.  (She is only about 3-days post emergency tonsilectomy here, looks so good!)  The dress will be in ivory, and the sash will be in indigo.  It's a tissue taffeta material, so very shimmery and lightweight- perfect for summer!  Next time I'm at Gamberdella's I'll have to take a picture of the swatch to show the colors.

The website shows the dress with long sashes that form a train.  But we will be having these sashes removed, and will be using the material to wrap all the bouquets.

Mother of the Bride

Picture
Made by Jovani, purchased from Francesca's Bridal on Bel Air Rd. in Rosedale.

Grandmother of the Bride

Picture
My grandmother is so fashionable.  It's from the Enzoani Special Occasions line, was also purchased at Francesca's.

Godmother of the bride

Picture
From the Love by Enzoani 2010 line.  Also purchased at Francesca's.

My aunt and I are really close... she's almost like my mom (I'm probably closer to her than my mom... and my mom and I are definitely close).  She went with us the day my mom and grandmother bought their dresses, so we made Aunt Cindy try some on, too... This dress looks awesome on her!  She tried it on in Blueberry, and she was torn on whether to buy it in the Blueberry or in Rose Alabaster (shown).

Bride

My dream dress!!  I haven't gone for the first fitting yet, but the dress fits almost like a glove, only needs minimal alterations.
[Kevin don't look if you found this site!]

Trying the veil on... I originally wanted to see if they could find a way to "bustle" it for the reception or something... but I was worried it would be too heavy all night and weigh my head down.  We ended up getting a very short (like shoulder-length) veil for the reception.  My grandmother insisted... I'll post pictures of the short veil once I have my first hair trial.

My MOH and I the day we went to try on BM dresses alongside my wedding dress. Love the dress she's wearing, but it's more than I want my BM's to spend on a dress they'll probably only wear once.

That's all for now!  I'm sure I'll add more as the wedding gets closer and I have fittings and such.
